By installing and using Fulfil-IT, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Shopify Store Data

When you install Fulfil-IT, we access certain data from your Shopify store through the Shopify API, including:

  • Order Information: Order numbers, line items, SKUs, quantities, fulfillment status, and shipping addresses
  • Product Information: Product names, SKUs, and barcodes for item verification
  • Store Settings: Store name and configuration preferences

2.2 App Configuration Data

We store your app settings, including:

  • Courier/shipping provider configurations
  • Tracking URL templates
  • App preferences

2.3 Fulfil-IT Location Inventory Data

When you install the Fulfil-IT Location Inventory app, we access the following data from your Shopify store:

  • Store Location Data: Location names and addresses (read-only) to display on your storefront
  • Inventory Levels: Per-location stock quantities (read-only), temporarily cached for fast storefront display and refreshed via Shopify webhooks
  • Product Data: Product and variant identifiers to map inventory to products

The Location Inventory app does not collect or store any customer personal data. All inventory data displayed on your storefront is fetched through Shopify's API and cached temporarily on our server.

2.4 Usage Data

We may collect anonymous usage data to improve our service, such as:

  • Feature usage patterns
  • Error logs for troubleshooting

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the App's functionality
  • Look up orders for fulfillment processing
  • Verify items using SKU/barcode scanning
  • Create fulfillments in your Shopify store
  • Store your courier and shipping preferences
  • Improve and optimize the App
  • Provide customer support

4. Data Storage and Security

Your Shopify store data is accessed in real-time through the Shopify API and is not permanently stored on our servers except for:

  • App configuration settings (courier list, preferences)
  • Session tokens required for authentication

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • With Shopify: As required to provide the App's functionality through Shopify's platform
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or governmental authority
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

6. Data Retention

We retain your app configuration data for as long as you have the App installed. When you uninstall Fulfil-IT:

  • Your session data is deleted immediately
  • App configuration data stored in Shopify metafields remains in your store (you can delete it manually)

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request information about the data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your data by uninstalling the App
  • Portability: Request a copy of your data in a portable format

8. Shopify's Role

Fulfil-IT is a Shopify application. Your use of Shopify's services is governed by Shopify's own Privacy Policy. We access your store data through Shopify's secure API with your authorization.

9. Children's Privacy

Fulfil-IT is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Privacy Policy.
